Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms govern how job seekers, employers and recruiters use Innohire Jobs. They cover your account, what you may and may not do on the platform, the rules for posting jobs and accessing candidate data, billing, and the limits of our responsibility as a marketplace.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Innohire Jobs, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an employer, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum working age in your jurisdiction if that is higher.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
One person, one account. Sharing employer or recruiter seats between individuals is not permitted, because access to candidate data is logged per user.
What job seekers agree to
You agree that the information in your profile and resume is truthful and describes your own experience.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, employment history, education, certifications or work authorization.
- Do not upload another person's resume or personal data without their permission.
- Do not use automated tools to submit applications in bulk.
- Applications you submit are sent to the employer and cannot be recalled from them, though you may withdraw the application.
What employers and recruiters agree to
Access to candidate data carries obligations. These rules are enforced, and breaching them can end your access without refund.
- Post only genuine, currently open roles that you are authorised to recruit for.
- Never charge candidates any fee to apply, interview, train or be hired.
- Use candidate data obtained from the resume database only to evaluate and contact candidates about genuine openings.
- Do not export, resell, redistribute or add candidate data to a separate database or mailing list.
- Do not contact candidates who have made their profile private or hidden it from your company.
- Comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, pay-transparency and data-protection law in the places you hire.
- Job postings must state the role accurately, including location, work model and any required licences or clearances.
Prohibited content and conduct
The following are prohibited anywhere on the platform, for all users.
- Discriminatory job criteria or content that is unlawful in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Multi-level marketing, commission-only schemes presented as salaried roles, and any posting that requires an up-front payment from candidates.
- Malware, phishing, credential harvesting, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service.
- Scraping, crawling or bulk extraction of listings, profiles or resume data other than through an interface we provide for that purpose.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or the use of messaging for unrelated solicitation.
- Reverse engineering, circumventing rate limits, or interfering with the operation of the service.
Content you provide
You keep ownership of what you upload — your resume, profile content, job postings and company materials. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, parse, index, display and transmit that content strictly as needed to operate the platform and provide the features you have enabled.
That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies an employer has already lawfully received through an application, and for backups pending scheduled deletion.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Job seeker accounts are free. Employer plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle, and the plan you are on determines how many roles you can have active and whether you have resume database access.
You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and access continues until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
If a payment fails we may suspend posting and database access until it is resolved. Active listings may be unpublished while an account is suspended.
Our role in hiring
Innohire Jobs is a marketplace. We are not the employer, the employment agency, or a party to any employment relationship formed through the platform.
We do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, that a role remains open, that an employer will respond, or that any application results in an interview or offer. We moderate reported postings and remove those that breach these terms, but we do not independently verify every listing or every candidate claim.
Hiring decisions, offers and employment terms are entirely between the employer and the candidate.
Service availability and changes
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce functionality on a paid plan.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, poses a security or fraud risk, or is used to post fraudulent roles or misuse candidate data. Where the breach is serious — for example reselling candidate data or charging candidates a fee — we may terminate immediately and without refund.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data. Our total aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms — including, for employers, claims arising from your job postings, hiring decisions or handling of candidate data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the last revision, and we notify account holders of material changes by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the revised terms.
